inji electrifies washington, dc
About 2 years ago, I had the amazing opportunity to photograph rising pop-star Inji at The Atlantis in Washington, DC. About 2 weeks ago, I had the same amazing opportunity to photograph her at the 9:30 Club; Atlantis' larger sister venue. Both performances blew my expectations out of the water - the ecstatic energy Inji brought to the stage flowed throughout the audience who returned it right back to her. Singing, dancing, laughing, yelling, and everything in-between flooded

Young the Giant Started off June in The Florida Leg of Their Victory Garden Tour, With cold War Kids and Almost Monday
It was such a pleasure at the beginning of this month catching Young the Giant again in South Florida. While I covered them a few years ago in Miami, this time around was a bit further north in Fort Lauderdale at the War Memorial Auditorium, a beautiful relatively new venue (that happens to be right next door to where I'm living now)! Young the Giant is currently on their US Victory Garden tour, showcasing their newest album that was released on May 1st this year. Playing the

fightmaster in la
E.R. Fightmaster kicked off their All or Nothing Tour with a sold out hometown performance at El Cid in Los Angeles, marking it as the first stop of the tour to sell out. Throughout the night, they balanced the set with fan favorites, newer releases, and first-ever live performances of unreleased songs from their upcoming album, including “Minotaur,” “Glide,” and another song jokingly referred to as “the one for divorcees.” Between songs, Fightmaster admitted they hadn’t prep

jeff draco - a look into excess
A few weeks ago, I sat down (on the internet) with Jeff Draco to discuss the release of his latest album Excess, the modern-age yearning for community, and the worlds largest chest of drawers. Residing in the Washington, DC area since 2018, Jeff has become a staple within the capital's indie-pop music scene. With his unforgettable live performances across the DMV area at iconic venues such as the 9:30 Club, as well as touring cross-country with artists such as The Thing With

An interview with Manic.
Nashville based alt-rock powerhouse Manic. is back with an exceptional release, a brand new single “EVERYDAMNDAY.” The track takes listeners on a melancholic journey through a sleepy and dreary small-town. Members Nicholas Baños, Matthew Vero and Jacob Saint Patrick make a bold statement with this track, and they sure know how to tell a story. The guys were kind enough to take the time to chat with us about the new single, as well as share some exciting new things coming up.

A chat with Ergo, Bria
Multi Instrumentalist and certified guitar shredder Bria McCollum (known as Ergo, Bria ) is the new face of Modern Rock. With thrashing guitars and catharsis dripping from every lyric, Ergo, Bria creates freeing, anthemic music for the outcasts want to be seen. The singer’s latest single “ Teeth” is an anthem for angry and underestimated people everywhere, releasing on Valentine’s Day the song is supposed to juxtapose the loving feeling in the air with unbridled female rage
