steve lacy sells out dc
This past Sunday, I was enamoured by the incredibly talented Steve Lacy and his sold out performance in Washington, DC., the 9th show on a long list of his current "oh yeah" tour stops. It's been a bit since I've been able to photograph a show as fun as this one, the atmosphere within The Anthem was electric :0 Feel free to glance lovingly at my photo gallery from this show below - and catch Steve Lacy in your city before it's too late! words + photos by eva

she’s green flourish in dc
About a week ago, I took the trip down south to one of my all time favorite Washington, DC venues - DC9. This club is near and dear to my heart, my fondness only growing after experiencing a sold out performance by Minneapolis natives she’s green. I’d consider myself a she’s green frequent flyer - the swallowtail EP has been on repeat in my rotation since its July release - so being able to catch the band on a headlining tour run was electrifying. Sneak a glimpse into the sh

Cannons in Washington, DC
A few months ago, I had the incredible opportunity of photographing the beautifully ethereal Cannons on their co-headlining tour with Bob Moses in Washington, DC. Taking over The Anthem, Cannons blew the entirety of the theater away with their stunning performance. Take a look at my gallery below to experience some major FOMO photos by eva

inji electrifies washington, dc
About 2 years ago, I had the amazing opportunity to photograph rising pop-star Inji at The Atlantis in Washington, DC. About 2 weeks ago, I had the same amazing opportunity to photograph her at the 9:30 Club; Atlantis' larger sister venue. Both performances blew my expectations out of the water - the ecstatic energy Inji brought to the stage flowed throughout the audience who returned it right back to her. Singing, dancing, laughing, yelling, and everything in-between flooded

JoJo in Boston
On March 26, 2025, Joanna Levesque, otherwise known as JoJo, returned to her roots with a captivating performance at Roadrunner in Boston, part of her "Too Much to Say" tour. The Foxborough native, who first charted the Billboard Top 40 at just 13 years old, delivered a night filled with nostalgia, emotion, and powerful vocals. Check out the photo gallery from the lovely Bhumika below!

Role Model is the diva we didn't know we needed
At approximately 2 AM on Friday March 14, Philadelphia’s East Allen Street saw the first glimpses of dedicated Role Model fans. Covered in gingham and denim, clutching homemade signs and their cowboy hats, Fillmore venue employees noted that it had been a while since they had seen a line so long – but his fans were more than happy to set a new precedent. Newly heartbroken, Role Model (Tucker Pillsbury) seemed to have found his silver lining. His album Kansas Anymore, which wa

mannequin pussy at revolution live
Last week in Fort Lauderdale, I got the chance to photograph Mannequin Pussy at one of my favorite South Florida venues. This was my third time seeing the band and their energy and stage presence never do disappoint. The first time I caught them live was a few years ago in an intimate venue in Miami (Gramps, another one of my favorite South Florida spots). It is truly a pleasure to watch this band grow and play larger venues and various festivals. I am happy they again made t
