It was such a pleasure at the beginning of this month catching Young the Giant again in South Florida. While I covered them a few years ago in Miami, this time around was a bit further north in Fort Lauderdale at the War Memorial Auditorium, a beautiful relatively new venue (that happens to be right next door to where I'm living now)! Young the Giant is currently on their US Victory Garden tour, showcasing their newest album that was released on May 1st this year. Playing their new hits along with their older ones that remind me of my college days, their set was inspiring and empowering, encouraging the crowd to spread love over fear in a world as complicated as this one. Accompanied by Cold War Kids and Almost Monday, the stacked lineup delivered three beautifully composed sets that captivated the audience from beginning to end! It was nice to catch Cold War Kids again after seeing them in DC several years ago and I absolutely loved the energy of the San Diego-based band Almost Monday who started off the night.

Young the Giant's US tour is still ongoing and will continue throughout the summer! Check out the upcoming dates of the tour at Young the Giant's site here!

Please enjoy my gallery capturing all three of the sets from this night! I have to say, I absolutely loved the lighting at this venue!
