There are very few artists whose voices I find really pull at my heartstrings – and Lily Ryan has certainly earnt her spot on that list. Her talent is astronomical, and she’s only just getting started.

Lily’s new single ‘Not good enough’ is a brilliant display of her angelic tone paired with a soft techno mix. The hero of the song is Lily’s voice; it’s like fine wine, with every relisten it just gets better and better. It is truly deliciously intoxicating.

‘Not good enough’ explores the idea of worthiness in a relationship and dealing with the feeling of disappointment in finally recognising you don’t meet their expectations.

The cover art for the single was created by an artist and personal friend of Lily’s. The painting captures the emotion of the song in a way that harnesses the power of the vulnerable lyrics, written by Lily herself.

Lily has peppered releases since 2020, and both her style and production has transformed along with her. With more music in the works, Lily is definitely an up-and-coming artist to keep an eye out for.
