Let's talk about the band Lookers!

We’re so excited about Providence, Rhode Island-based Lookers and their debut release Deeper, out now via Almost Ready Records!

Tracks like “Animal” and “Bury You Under” are especially resemblant of The Breeders, with sturdy and expressive talk-singing, sticky textures, and atmospheric distortion that focus you in on each song’s driving heartbeats. 

“Alone” ushers in a different tone, with jangly instrumentation and light, airy melodies that allow lead vocalist Muggs Fogarty’s range to shine.

“Crisis” is a testament to the band’s ability to write a catchy dance hit amid their heavier, punk influences.
