I was driving to work the other morning; it was a Saturday and it was one of those days when I got every red light, stuck in traffic, cursing people for driving slow in the fast lane. I was beyond frustrated, focused fully on the red light to see if maybe I could mind-control it to change over to green. Anyway, this is beside the point – as I was waiting at the last set of lights before I get to work, the radio started playing something that sounded very familiar, a voice I recognised. Then it clicked – It’s Eliza & The Delusionals! And my word, did it make my morning commute that much better.
Eliza & The Delusionals new single ‘Give You Everything’ is the perfect track to lighten up your mood. Full of electric and vibrant instrumentals, the single is punchy, fun-loving, and delivers exactly what Eliza & The Delusionals are best known for. The Australian indie rock band offers the perfect blend between contemporary and nostalgia, giving flavours of early 2000s and underground rock.
‘Give You Everything’ is off the highly anticipated upcoming album ‘Now And Then’, which will be released May 20. Coming off a fruitful 2021 for the band, proving that nothing can stop their momentum, the new album promises to be a special collection of music which explores all the emotions and feelings experienced throughout the pandemic.
‘Give You Everything’ is just a little taste of what is to come from Eliza & The Delusionals, and I cannot wait to jam out to the album in the car (fingers crossed there’s no red lights).
