cry harder by gawjuss

Produced by Gawjuss in Leeds with the help of engineering by Alex Greaves comes “Cry Harder”, the lead single from the band’s upcoming debut album called “Prototypical”. Wilkinson explains that the new single is about “coming to terms with who you used to be after too much time spent alone.” From the opening beat to the very last note, you’re hit with an explosion of dark and heavy drum beats and intense vocals; it’s almost as if you’re being pulled everywhere. Influences from bands like Oasis can be heard in the guitar tones and riffs which make the track even more great. I love that you can pick up on the lyrical aspects of reflection, the inner outcry to oneself by Wilkinson’s yelling.
