Baby If I Were An Android by risy

A gorgeous blend of the indie pop, R&B and jazz that inspires her, risy’s music is incredibly easy on the ears. In her latest track, ‘Baby If I Were An Android’, risy is calm, collected and complex all in one.

There’s a fresh spaciousness in which risy’s vocal breeze over bubbly guitar. Though it’s laid-back, it’s by no means insipid; there’s such a variety in the display of risy’s talent throughout the track that makes for a rewarding listen, from start to finish.

‘Baby If I Were An Android’ was written by risy in lockdown about a long distance relationship. I was utterly charmed by the line “you said you loved me and you proved it”. It’s romantic in such an understated way – one that reminds you of how simple and sweet being with somebody can be.
