Renee Holiday and Michael Blume held it down this past weekend with an intimate showcase at the Standard Hotel in New York City as part of the Annie O Musical Series.
Hailing from Seattle’s underground music scene, Renee Holiday (with previously released music under Shaprece) has been a force to be looked out for in the new decade.
With soft falsettos and an eye-catching presence on stage to accompany her, Renee Holiday is a fresh take within the RnB genre with singles such as “Ain’t Got No Love” that left her audience wanting to hear more from the songstress.
Michael Blume, known for hits such as “R U Mad” and “Lifting You” has an energy like no other. Keeping the audience intimate and upbeat, his set captured his dynamic range across all boards of pop, synth and genre bending harmonies.
