hey friends! eva here! been kind of awhile since we did a monthly playlist, so we’re going to try to start picking it back up again! below are 10 songs i happened upon during the month of october, hope you all give them the 1,000,000 listens they deserve! “animal” - sir chloe sir chloe currently has 4 singles released on apple music, and if i could put them all in this playlist i 100% would. genuinely recommend every sir chloe song ever, they sound like nothing else out there! “i always knew” - the vaccines this song came out 7 years ago, but it somehow got lost in my memory and i just found it again thanks to my constant binge watching of new girl! no other way to describe how this song makes me feel other than “completely alive!” i always knew gives off the same vibes as rollercoaster by the bleachers if that makes any sense “marlboro nights” - lonely god this song is too good to be as short as it is. whenever i’m in a crappy mood i throw this track on and i’m instantly feeling better. such an upbeat and cute song! <3 “buttercup” - jack stauber heard this song in a tiktok remix and spent a week straight searching for the original. completely worth it! this song is so unique and fun i don’t even have the words to describe it, please just do yourself a favor and check it out “lonesome cowboy” - the dune flowers i got the chance to hear this song before it was released and i’ve been obsessed with it ever since. i’m not sure what it is, but this track makes me feel weirdly nostalgic. it’s one of those songs you listen to when you’re driving down an empty road at night. one of those movie soundtrack type songs “michelle” - sir chloe fuck it! another sir chloe song! once you listen to this track, you will never stop and your heart will also hurt “on my team” - the babies another 7 year old song i found in new girl! i swear that show has the best soundtrack. this track will have you dangerously air guitaring on the highway “we fell in love in october” - girl in red this song has been allll over tiktok, and for good reason! it’s amazing! makes me wish i fell in love in october “best of friends” - palma violets this song fits into the same fun genre as on my team by the babies. such an addictive track, would absolutely recommend the entire “180” album by palma violets “im glad you’re doing well” - cottonwood firing squad honestly i found this song last summer but it’s too good to not include. this is probably one of my favorite songs of all time, and i know that there aren’t any words to do it justice so please listen for yourself! one of the first songs in a long time to make me feel something, you know?
