Brighton based singer-songwriter, Lando Manning, introduces us his newest single, “Today” with honest and expressive lyrics. Lando explains that his new song is about “reflecting on his boredom and lack of drive for not doing anything. Each verse reflects those feelings.” Accompanied by Manning’s soft vocals that are carried gracefully throughout the track, you can tell how amazing he is at getting such a simple, yet raw message of his story out to us. With lo-fi guitar driven melodies and an individual sound, you can sense what he is describing in each part of the track which is introspective and makes you reflect on how much we are dealing with right now, but with a nice feeling of not going through it all alone.
