After seeing Peter McPoland open for Twenty One Pilots on The Icy Tour, I knew I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I missed one of his 2023 headlining performances. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to take some photos of his DC stop on the Piggy tour and enjoy the sold out show. The energy Peter brings to the space is electric and almost indescribable, there is never a dull moment on the stage. The love he and the band consistently show to the audience makes the performance feel like home; as if all 1,200 of us have been friends for a lifetime and this room is where we're meant to be. The mix between high-octane moments and intimate acoustic ballads created the perfect balance, leaving every crowd member captivated until the end. I can't wait to see what's next for Peter in 2024 and hope to catch him again soon!
