"This past Thanksgiving, I was helping my granny clean out some of her house when we found a stack of old photographs from the 80’s. She said they were “rejects,” as most of them were out of focus, badly lit, or caught the person photographed at a bad time. I asked if I could keep them and she said yes. Naturally, I had to paint on them. These are only a chosen few from the series, which has no title (yet); there are more to come."
